Derrington Dash

After a fab day last year the Derrington Dash 5k is back. Aimed at 8y0oto .100+ yo and all abilities it is a real family event. It is part of the yearly fete at Derrington so look out for cakes and other fetey things! The course is a casual run mainly down old railway tracks, with a quick detour around the Millennium Green pond (because who doesn’t love a scenic route, right?)
When – Saturday 4th July
Start time – 12 30pm start
Location – Derrington playing fields next to the chuch
Start line – on the old railway lines adjacent to the playing fields in Derrington
Open to – 8yo (only if accompanied by an adult) and over
Prizes – Memento for every finisher. Prizes for first 3 x places male /female & prizes for 1st boy/girl U11 & U16
Cost – £10
Afterwards – enjoy Derrington Village fete, complete with food stall, tea and coffee, bar, stalls, duck races, children’s games, dog show, Tug of War to name a few!!!
