Wheels or Feet?

Wheels or Feet?

What a beautiful ‘Summery’ day Sunday was. We opted for wheels over feet and set off on our bikes. I love being back on my bike. The sun was shining, the scenery was stunning. We cycled along roads, fields, along the canal. through the Shugborough Estate. We did a lot of downhills and a lot of uphills, some would call it undulating. We stopped for  a well deserved coffee stop at Cobwebs, home to an amazing array of cakes., and then set off to head back to Stafford. A fab day finishing off with refreshments at the Bod. The only problem with riding my bike being I don’t really stop to take photos so although I saw lots of bluebells, the photo on here is from the ones I saw on my run in Worcestershire during the week. So having been out on my bike I want to sign up for some sportives as it is great being able to find new routes and meet new people. I should also sign up for some running races to get that motivation going. I did a hilly 10k last week and whilst I finished in under an hour I was way off my PB time so need to up my game and my training. Talking of races…it would be nice to see some more entries coming in for our Walton Wobble charity race on the 9th July. It might seem a long way away but it will be here soon and the sooner you sign up the sooner you can start that hill training.

We have a 10k, 5k Hill dodger option and a kids’ fiendlishly fun run plus Crepe revolution with their fab pancakes and hopefully the sunshine!
